Beginners Rowing Training

At the start of the session, we will check the client's knowledge of the boat and parts and ask if they have adjusted the gearing to suit their rowing style. I will also ask how many outings they have had and if they have any racing experience with the types of boats they have rowed in.

We will ask the client to carry the boat to the water if they are strong enough, then watch them enter the boat and get them to do some stationery exercises to asses competency,  before we venture away from the bank. We will ask what part of the stroke they want to work on and then plan accordingly. We can then advise on how to proceed until they are ready for their next lesson.

45 Years Of Rowing
Pro Rowing has years of experience in competitions worldwide and training all levels of rowers.
