First Time Training

Initially, we will alleviate any concerns the client may have. Prepare the boat for the session and adjust it to fit the client's needs. Then, educate them on parts of the boat, areas that they can put weight on, and areas that are easily damaged. We will also identify parts of the boat that will be referred to frequently during the lesson.

As your instructor, my role is to build your confidence and help you understand how your movements affect the boat. This is a key aspect of the first lesson. You will quickly gain confidence and develop your skills, leaving you eager to learn more. By lesson 10, you should have enough confidence and skill to take your first escorted paddle, with me by your side.
